The Worker
Art: 1975
Media: Linocut print
Plate (block) image size: 12 inches H x 9 W

At least one proof was signed and titled ‘Portrait of a downtrodden worker.’

I believe I have 2 extant proofs, one black & white and the other in a purplish ink color. (Photos of both to be added here.)

This was a portrait of a fellow who was a housemate for a few months, Carbondale, Illinois. His name was either David Bator, or Ator.

Probably no more than a few prints were proofed (printed). The linoblock is long gone.
